A question about TNG A Final Unity: Does the game ever ends or end badly if you just idle around and do nothing, letting time pass? I'm curious to find out.
Star Trek seems to lend itself well to the point-and-click adventure game format.
WRT "Wing Commander" - WC I, II, III, and IV were all DOS games (Origin had a patch you could download to make WC IV launchable under Windows 95 directly, but it was still a DOS game.) The only native Windows WC game was WC V (done without Chris Roberts involvement). Most dos games don't have a lot of difficulty getting set up in Windows thanks to Dosbox. This is why the digital store GOG often uses the dos version of a game instead of the windows version (if there is a windows version of a dos game) for the digital rerelease (Heroes of Might and Magic and Wing Commander for example)
Wing Commander 1-3 had the Windows version the Kilrathi saga.WRT "Wing Commander" - WC I, II, III, and IV were all DOS games (Origin had a patch you could download to make WC IV launchable under Windows 95 directly, but it was still a DOS game.)
