A final unity

This game made me learn english ahead of time.

I still play it from time to time.

Enjoyed it quite a bit back in high school. Might decide to try it again on my current Win 10 system.

Most dos games don't have a lot of difficulty getting set up in Windows thanks to Dosbox. This is why the digital store GOG often uses the dos version of a game instead of the windows version (if there is a windows version of a dos game) for the digital rerelease (Heroes of Might and Magic and Wing Commander for example)

I’m hoping for a remake soon, a lot of point and click games have been remade so hopefully someone will pick this up one day.

A question about TNG A Final Unity: Does the game ever ends or end badly if you just idle around and do nothing, letting time pass? I'm curious to find out.

I once loaded it and let it idle for 6 months. The ending was sweet, you should totally try it.

I did love this game. I was surprised at how good it was, considering other Trek games of the era were... less fun. Let's just say that.

WRT "Wing Commander" - WC I, II, III, and IV were all DOS games (Origin had a patch you could download to make WC IV launchable under Windows 95 directly, but it was still a DOS game.) The only native Windows WC game was WC V (done without Chris Roberts involvement).

Wing Commander 1-3 had the Windows version the Kilrathi saga.

My post outright said Gog chooses to use the DOS versions as opposed to Windows ones (thus no Kilrathi Saga on Gog).
