    James Bond is still in the movie, who had retired in the last (terrible) movie. She took over the code name, but, the role of James Bond.

    Box office will be fine. Those that are upset will have as much impact on the box office as they did on Captain Marvel's.

    Save yourself an hour and twenty-seven minutes: this video is more entertaining, more optimistic, shows the benefits of positive role models in media, and is a lot - like a metric fuckton - shorter than that drivel up topic:

    It is a big gamble. A female protagonist in Star Wars is one thing, a female 007 is another. Obviously it wouldn't be happening if they didn't see the change in audiences.
