A Christmas Story

Every year they play it all day and every year I watch it multiple times. Can't seem to turn it off on Christmas day. Don't know why.

I can't say that I can watch it over and over all day long but it's hard not to want to watch at least once or twice during the Christmas season. I'll also still catch bits and pieces whenever it is on. I loved it when I was a kid and enjoy it every bit as much as an adult. Simply classic!:techman:

Yeah, we leave it on Christmas Day.

I had to spend Christmas Eve with the in-laws again... they don't like it.

It was amusing when it was realitively unknown. When mainstream America latched onto it...they killed it. I can't watch a second of it.

Both are equally awesome Christmas movies. Now we need to do the TrekBBS edits to add in Robau, Pike and Sombreros

15 years ago no one ever heard of this movie but me! I was forced to watch it every year with it's evil Santa!

I own a copy of A Christmas Story somewhere in my collection, but I still tune in every Christmas Eve/Christmas Day to it. It's like comfort food...

For those so interested, the score to the movie was released officially this year (can find it on Amazon.com). The previous edition -- whose contents are exactly the same -- from a couple years ago, may not have been entirely legal.

I love this movie, used to watch it every year (though I have gotten to watching "Bad Santa" every year now), still quote it, and even use a line from the movie as my sinature at a couple boards:

"Randy lie there like a slug; it was his only defense."
