I can't say that I can watch it over and over all day long but it's hard not to want to watch at least once or twice during the Christmas season. I'll also still catch bits and pieces whenever it is on. I loved it when I was a kid and enjoy it every bit as much as an adult. Simply classic!

It was amusing when it was realitively unknown. When mainstream America latched onto it...they killed it. I can't watch a second of it.

Bah, that title has to go to Bad Santa or Scrooged. A Christmas Story's attempts at humor are bushwah and lightweight by comparison.

I own a copy of A Christmas Story somewhere in my collection, but I still tune in every Christmas Eve/Christmas Day to it. It's like comfort food...

For those so interested, the score to the movie was released officially this year (can find it on Amazon.com). The previous edition -- whose contents are exactly the same -- from a couple years ago, may not have been entirely legal.

I love this movie, used to watch it every year (though I have gotten to watching "Bad Santa" every year now), still quote it, and even use a line from the movie as my sinature at a couple boards:

"Randy lie there like a slug; it was his only defense."
