I think you could leave this one black & white and it suits David Lynch perfectly.

You know, without the tell tale colors of a Federation starship (blue/red on the nacelles and things like this) it could totally fit in his version of Dune. And I mean that as a true compliment.

As a Federation starship it's also rocking.

thanks, and indeed
That's a great unique ship design.

It would be better if it was a "Non-StarFleet" ship.
It could still be a UFP Civilian-Designed StarShip; so it has many of the same "Technological Trappings" as a StarFleet Ship w/o being StarFleet.
Thanks. That would be up to you. I just designed it to honour the man, not for lore.

Given that it's to honor the legendary Film Maker.
May he R.I.P.

Then it would be better if it was definitely a "UFP Civilian-Designed StarShip".
It was a one-off design ship in honor of the man.

A unique "Visionary" Film Maker shouldn't have a ship named after him be "Mass Produced", but be a truly "Unique" original "One-Off" vessel that is custom made in his honor.

There are plenty of other Ship Classes that can be made for Mass Production, this one doesn't need to be then if we're going to create "Fan Lore" for it.
