a "24" movie?

I voted for the 'Let me see the script' option. The current season has been poor with occasional bursts of being good but it's generally been a good ride over the last 8+ years. 24 Redemption, the 2 hour movie, showed that it can work over a shorter time period, but I hope any 24 movie would be better than the Johnny Depp movie Nick of Time (which I still think deserves more credit for inspiring the Sutherland show).

I actually think 24 will work better as a movie! I've always thought that by the 16 episode, things could have been tied up nicely, but absurd story elements have to be created to drag things on JUST that much longer to make the show work. Plus, the conceit that 1 minute equals 1 minute is more wink wink, we're close enough right now, but that should be abandoned. It's a gimmick that's no longer necessary.

Since 24 was really an action movie stretched over too long of a time (though I still love the show!), a condensed movie will be perfect. At the end of the day, Bauer is still a fantastic character and the acting on the show has generally been top notch. Now they have a budget and time on their hands to only improve on everything. Hopefully.

I would like a 2 part movie so each movie is 12 hour with 11 hours done non real time and the last being in real time. Could have summer/christmas or back to back summer releases.

If TWILITE can do this, so could 24...part of the 24 fun were those damn cliffhangers!!! Might as well make that part of the movie experience too..

I'd defintiely be down for a 24 movie. Redemption was ok, but if they were to make a real movie, they'd have a full cast with more money and I think that would be really awesome.

To be honest, I don't even need them to adopt the hour-by-hour theme of the show. I think just an action movie set in the universe of the show would be good enough.

Yeah..NICK OF TIME, as someone mentioned earlier, did this with somewhat mixed results, IMO. Since most action movies take place in a day, a plot that takes place in 24 hours wouldn't be out of the ordinary..IMO..
