9pm Slot Gives SG-A Higher Ratings

Well what a shock, a 10 year old could of told SCI FI this when they began airing the SG shows at 10pm that you will get more DVR than you would at 9pm...

The second half of Stargate Atlantis's mid-season two-parter was the most-watched of the season so far, earning a 1.5 average household rating

This is a huge increase of four-tenths of a point (36 percent) from part one, "First Contact which faced stiff competition from the first U.S. presidential debate on September 26. It also tops the previous season-high, the 1.3 rating earned by "Search and Rescue "The Daedalus Variations and "The Queen.

1.1 average household rating was secured by part 1 though they had to go against The first U.S. presidential debate

Its simple, if SGA was given the 9pm slot more often things would be different and am not sure but wasn't SG-1 season 10 put a 10pm ? and lets face it the DVD sales prove that the fans have not left but stopped watching live at 10pm.

:scream::scream::scream::scream: SCI FI keep all SG at 9pm you fools, I bet the same could be said for BSG too, I mean 10pm on a fucking friday :shifty:

I'm not going to argue that. I am, however, concerned for another reason. It's the same time new episodes of the Star Wars cartoon are playing. For the most part, it's the same audience. And with only 9 episodes to go in the series, I'm just a bit worried about whether they'll be able to keep the audience.

What does it matter if it keeps its audience at this point? The season is going to finish one way or another. The movie is going to be made, and aired, one way or another. Further movies will be dependent on the DVD sales of said movie. At this point, who cares about the ratings?
