Can anyone tell me why The CW is bringing back 90210 this fall? I never thought it was all that great in the early 90's.

It was immensely popular with young women and the teen demographics. CW is rebranding itself as being directed toward women in the key demos.

They are targeting an audience that doesn't exist and that's why The CW will be a massive failure like none other in TV history.

I started watching the original show on a drunken bet, and I've found that it's hilarious self-parody most of the time and I enjoy wishing death upon the characters. Plus, Luke Perry chewing scenery is always fun to watch.

The new show will fail precisely because they think it's Serious Business and won't be any fun at all.

I have know idea I could see how the show might be appealing to some girls or women, but speaking as a woman that hates that show I think we were all better off with out it.

To be truly multi cultural/cutting edge they should've put an adopted female China baby in there.

If the CW is rendered off the air, would that mean the end for Smallville and Supernaturel? That would suck if so. I realize Smallville is probably towards an end anyway, but Supernaturel is like one of the best shows that channel has...

There's always the Sci-Fi Channel for Supernatural to be on.

That would be nice, but the Sci-Fi channel didn't pick up Enterprise, however
