And it's a good one too: "Profile in Silver."

Here is the original episode (Yep, that is Andrew Robinson as JFK!):

(sad note: Lane Smith, who plays the professor in this episode, died of ALS - i.e. Lou Gehrig's Disease - a few years ago :( )

No, I think it will just be "Profile in Silver" and not be under the TZ banner.

That was a great episode, wasn't it? :techman:

Wow, Lane Smith made it to 69 with ALS? That's a pretty impressive constitution, isn't it. I don't mean to take away from the suffering of ALS, but, that's pretty rare isn't it? He never struck me as especially health concious. Contrast that to another amazing constitution in Montel Williams and his successful battle with MS (But, he's doing everything health conscious possible towards the battle). ALS victims don't generally make it into their 40s, do they?

Lane Smith was an amazing actor, and it was a sad day when we lost the opportunity to see him in future parts :(

At least we still have Betty White

The acting in this episode was top notch. I hope the film version lands actors of a similar caliber. And they better not fuck with the ending...

I will also point out that Lane Smith and Andrew Robinson both absolutely NAILED to near perfection the upper-class Boston accent, which does not seem to be an easy accent to imitate. Although I'm sure Robinson had easy access to oodles of real JFK speeches to prepare for the role.

Ah yes Andrew Robinson, I was trying to figure out who he was, he's always hard to place without the spoon divit in the forehead :rommie:

^ I first saw him on L.A. Law where he played a man with multiple personalities. We literally see some of them fighting for control of him during the episode.
