80's One Hit Wonders

Only this week I was reminded of this minor classic from the late 80s:

I looked up Toni Basil who did "Mickey" in 1982 after she came up in a discussion with a friend.

She's 67 this year (23 days younger than my dad) and was 39 when the song came out - couldn't believe it

When I posted a thread about one hit wonders, there was a lot of blowback because artists have a different number of hits depending on the country. For example, David Hasselhoff has zero hits in the USA, but he's got a few overseas.

On the other hand, this one actually was a one-hit wonder, it being literally their only single:

Some parts of Europe still enjoys ukelelian music so it don't take much to get a hit.

Polka music is also big time stuff in central Wisconsin.

Not sure if it qualifies as a one hit wonder, but I recently rediscovered this old track and was instantly catapulted back to the days of green desktops and white bees.
