8 (or 9) Planets - Which have you been to?

been to Luna on training exercises. Fought and defeated the Army for the Independence of Mars on Mars. took a slow flight through the outer system on the way to colonise Toliman at Alpha Cent-A.

took a trip to an SDF weapons lab in the Oort Cloud once as well.

Most of my time in space though, has been extra-solar since the Al-Cent War, what with throwing down with Chang the Cruel's forces three times, battling the Legion of Steel on Vacuna, investigating the slaughter of the colony on Mitra, the responding to the attack on Balder by the Lizard-Men, training on Sekhmet and making first contact with the Hawk-Men at Beta Canum Venticorum III

I've been on both Vulcans, the one that keeps shifting Mercury's orbit and the one which is home to our favourite pointy-ears.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate...

I don't think I've ever been to any of the planets. Not even Earth.

I have no idea where I am, really.

:shifty:

However, I have eaten a pack of Mars Planets. Does that count? :D

Now I'm saving for my trip to Pluto. I want to make it for the 2010 "Still A Planet, You Assholes" rally.

If you can't make it to Pluto, I heard they're holding the same rally at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, AZ and teleconferencing the Pluto rally. Though Lowell insists on calling it the "We Discovered a Full Sized Planet and Not a Dwarf, You Assholes" rally.

Pluto has also issued a statement declaring that all citizens of Flagstaff are honorary Plutians.

And yes, I have been there. Saturn, Mars, and Venus too. I refuse to go to Neptune after the stories I've heard about what they do to tourists.

I actually don't care. It's not something I consider to be worth getting upset over. They could reclassify Jupiter as being a cheeseburger and I'd think: "That's kind of dumb, but whatever."

Not this solar system, but I found Altair IV to a total disappointment.

Knew i shoulda gone thirty years ago before i went to college, but just never got around to it. Finally, last year, the clones and I went for the summer. It's gotten totally touristy. The Krell ruins are just choked with fat rigellian tourists from dawn to dusk, poking their pseudopods into just everything. You can't hardly see anythiong through the crowds. And the "unspoiled alien wilderness" they brag about in the brochures? Well, if you like thousands and thousands of miles of desert, you're welcome to it. And then there are the Robbys all over the place hawking coffee mugs and holo-postcards...I'd rather die or go to Disney before I'd ever go back to Altair.

ANd now, gods help me, the clones are getting all frothed about going to Vulcan next summer. Great, more deserts...

there's 8 planets and 5 dwarf planets, if you believe the IAU crap.

Ceres, Pluto, Haumea, Makemake and Eris are the dwarf planets.

That would be awesome. :rommie: :bolian:
