Entering these contests is how I improved my avatar making skills. So it wasn't a total waste of time entering avs all these years.
I didn't even know what an avatar was until I came to TrekBBS.
Here is the very first av I ever made.
That was back when we had an 80px by 80px restriction.
I've updated the recap.
