6X23 "Fury" - VOY Av Contest

1. This contest is centered on the Season 6 episode "Fury." An angry Kes returns to Voyager planning to deliver her former friends to the Vidiians for organ harvestation.
2. The VOY theme will be "Characters in a Tight Spot." Chosen by Wicca who Wonta.
3. The random theme will be "Sharp Objects in Motion." Chosen by Akiraprise.

The Rules: Avs not to exceed 140x140 px and not be over 70kb in file size. Avs can be static pictures or animated, just don't go over the restrictions posted previously. One av entry per category. The theme must be Voyager related while the random is just that, random from anything. The contest runs on a bi-weekly schedule so entries will be accepted until May 25, 2009 sometime in the evening.

Two good sites for getting images are trekcore.com and star-trek-voyager.net

I got lots of inspiration for this category all of a sudden. I normally don't like the episode category as much as the other two.

That would actually work even better, I didn't realize that until now. I might change categories later.

I think you should enter the second theme avatar.

es, have you seen O Brother, Where Art Thou? George Clooney's character keeps saying, "We're in a tight spot!" I hadn't noticed, but my sister thought that was very funny.

I think you should enter the second theme avatar.

I thought of "Hunters"

before I chanced upon "Alice", and I indeed like that one,

with the unusual beard on Tom Paris. I did the other Alice av for the fluorescent tubes sticking out of him.

Well, I haven't seen that movie and even if I did it would be in German or Russian Being in a tight spot sounds funny to me too. I hope I'll find a good screenshot to show why

I haven't seen it either but I hear it's a good movie. Fortunately, they don't dub movies over here. They just subtitle them.

Ria, I think you should enter the one with Seven and the Hirogen too!

Yes, I mean to. I was going to make that av but it slipped my mind at the end of the first batch. It does look best, no question.
And it's an awful situation. The one I may have found most terrifying in the whole series. The only reason Tuvok and Seven seem to take it well enough is that they're not the kind to show emotions - and of course, insanely heroic, like most Star Trek characters.
