Pretty cool. Wonder if they'll keep the float to show around at other events this year. Be a shame to dismantle it right away.

Well, the floats are designed for 1 and done. They have them along a 2 mile stretch of street in Pasadena for people to come get a closer look over the weekend; but the flowers and petals on them usually start looking bad after 24 hours (they might last a bit longer with the current Pasadena weather); but yeah, after that, they're dismantled and the work for the floats in the 2027 Parade begins.That's too bad. I just now realized that that’s the landed U.S.S. Athena at front of the float, right next to the Golden Gate bridge! Kind of an ill-timed choice to include that on the float, considering almost no-one would have been able to recognize it before the show even premieres.

I noticed that as well and thought the same thing. Even the Golden Gate Bridge is kind of a deep cut for casual viewers.
