I'm not sure about #1 but all the others are very true, especially the parts about the governments and people not being really keen on you unless you're rich and/or very highly skilled in whatever your job is.

Bottom line is, there is things good and bad about every country. And a lot of the things a westerner dislikes about their country is often shared by other western countries.

I'm intrigued by his saying that American's know how hard it is to get into America... really? I and several other people I know are constantly baffled by the number of American's who say "why don't you just move here?"
