The Doctor forgets to set the TARDIS controls leaving Amy trapped inside as she ends up travelling one week into the future, without the Doctor. This leaves the Doctor trapped on Earth as he awaits the return of his TARDIS. While the Doctor waits, he discovers there's a house on Aickman road with a staircase that people go up, but never down... To solve the mystery of the man upstairs, the Doctor must pass himself off as a normal human being, and share a flat with Craig Owens

I'll be on the road for vacation while this is airing. Figured I get at least one episode thread in before the season ends :D. I'll also miss episode 12.

Corden: "Ahh, my lunch. Three burgers, four regular fries, two large cokes. A balti, a madras and popadums, oh, and a prawn bhoona. Than..."
Doctor: "They were out of deep fried lard though, so i threw in a knob of butter on the side."

Ill pass judgement until tonights ep. I just hope that Corden doenst go the way the Peter Kay episode went, ya know, shite.

Fingers crossed.

Well, you could have just told me you wanted to do the threads. :) But aren't you a bit premature with this one? The episode won't air for another week.

This airs next week?

Yep. Which is a shame. They could have just broadcast it a little earlier so that it wouldn't interfere with the England game.

Mmh. Weird. I was under the impression it would air today at the start of the week, but then the BBC Doctor Who page said it was next week. Did they just screw up?

Anyway, I solved the jigsaw on the Doctor Who page and here's some dialogue from the episode:

The Doctor: Ever been to Paris, Craig?

Craig: Nah, I can't see the point of Paris. I'm not much of a traveller.

The Doctor: I can tell by your sofa.

Craig: My sofa?

The Doctor: You are starting to look like it!

Looks like we don't need Patrick Stewart on scene... ;)

The Who mainpage talks of Confidential as if it's airing tonight, and says of the episode itself Saturday the 18th (which is a Friday). So I'm not sure if they're off by a day or 6.

The TV guide I buy has it airing tonight, as does the online TV guide I sometimes use.

Well, the Beeb showed a trail for it after Trooping The Colour this lunchtime as airing at 6:45 tonight ...

So, are there any volunteers to make the thread next week? I'm in Kiel for a Schlagball tournament, so I'd have to make it quite early, on Friday afternoon.

Doctor Who Wiki shows that it airs tonight still...weird. I was looking forward to both the game and my weekly Who!

It will air, Admiral_Young. The people behind the BBC's Doctor Who page just screwed up.

Oh geez, you guys scared me! I'm so hyped up for this episode I'd go absolutely bonkers if I had to wait another week.

Weak; dangerously close to clunker territory. I honestly didn't think that would happen this series.

Not much to say really - a good laugh throughout, Matt Smith is great, felt like the Doctor in an episode of Spaced. 8/10

Unusual use of the Tennant era TARDIS set, or bits of if, almost unrecognizable, but a good budget-saver.

You just know the Hate Mail/Mary Shitehouse brigade will complain that it'll encourage kids to nut each other, except that...

Nobody will be watching cos England is playing football on the other side.

Next Time trailer however -

Chelonians mentioned among all the monsters we know are appearing?! Does this mean we'll actually see the buggers at last?

Apart from the excellence of The Doctor doing his thing, this was a pretty nondescript episode, IMO. Not bad, as such...but nothing special. And the way that the Alien Upstairs Ship Thing Problem was resolved was a bit weak.
