Mint. Doctor Who's 50th anniversary is being marked with a series of collectible coins to be issued by New Zealand Mint in association with BBC Worldwide Australia.
Eleven actors have played the lead in the British science fiction show, which turns 50 on November 23, and all 11 will be commemorated in the set.
They are William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant and Matt Smith.
Smith is keen to bring the show to New Zealand with Sir Peter Jackson at the helm and executive producer Caro Skinner has said she'd like to make it happen after the 50th anniversary.
As well as the 11 coin set a 12th legal tender coin will also be released featuring an engraved picture of the Doctor's time machine, the Tardis, as well as a unique 50th Anniversary logo.

I'd get one but then accidentally use it in a parking meter or something.

Too bad the Cushing movies aren't considered part of the canon, as he would look good as part of the coin collection... They were very popular and, I think, worthy of mention..
