I know a woman who doesn't like TLJ because it doesn't have Harrison Ford, but that's entirely anecdotal.
Naturally, there are plenty of reasons why a person might not like something that don't involve prejudice or bigotry.

Harassing actors/actresses/producers goes far beyond simple dislike of a film or character, and anyone who has any true appreciation for the Star Wars franchise ought to know the difference and be willing to speak up and not allow troglodyte Trolls to pollute the overall image of the SW fan community with their repulsiveness.
He's gotten a lot of racist tweets from these same "fans", but he fights back.

Come join The Phantom of the Paradise fandom. We’re absolutely tiny, have no merch, very little in the way of fanfic, maybe two discussion boards on the entire ‘net, and only one movie to discuss.
But boy oh boy, are we harmoniously united in our innocent and enduring love of that really odd 40-year-old flop.
But seriously. The only way fandoms don’t seem to end up cess pits, is when they’re small enough (and generally principled enough) for the odd arsehole to actively be frozen out by lack of engagement.
Also: Everyone really should watch Phantom of the Paradise. I like sharing the things I like. And the Phantom’s costume has been knocked off in sooo much skiffy stuff.

Just for the record, that's untrue, whether literally or even just figuratively. There's not even a little truth to that contention.
Sentence one - advanced intelligence and compulsive behavior do NOT automatically or even generally lead a person to engage in deviant and criminal activities like stalking, harassment, or online abuse.

That's exactly what's going on. Sadly I can only hope J.J makes something safe enough to net a decent profit because this new trilogy is messed up.
