"5 Reasons Kathleen Kennedy Needs To Step Down From Lucasfilm" By John Campea

I just read somewhere about someone comparing it to Fury Road and thought it was funny.
I just think the new characters just arent as interesting as the OT ones. People say Ren is but I still think he’s as interesting as a dial tone.
Kylo is actually my mental image of the people complaining about the sequel trilogy. A whiny manchild obsessed with a delusional version of the past with a strong sense of entitlement over something that never belonged to him in the first place and constantly lashing out when he doesn't get things exactly the way he wanted.

Leia at least knows of him, since she reacts to Luke stating that Ben is with him.

Also, Ben saved their lives. Naming a child after someone who saved your lives is a popular trope among various types of media. This is nothing new, and really isn't all that surprising.
He's also the reason they all met. Without him, Luke would still be farming moisture, Han and Chewie would still be dealing with Jabba and possibly dead, Leia would be dead and the Empire would have won. He changed their lives in a pretty significant way, it makes sense that the only possible couple that could form would name a kid after him. Even with Han, while he was pretty dismissive of the Force and Obi-Wan at first, he clearly came to respect it and believe it as time went on. If he had input on the naming of Ben, it might be because on some level he regretted his earlier behavior around him.

I think the new Star Wars franchise definitely has its share of issues. But anyone who thinks Kennedy is the problem is seriously missing the point.

The Star Wars problems are exactly the same as the Marvel problems: that is, they're nothing more than well-packaged mediocrity for the masses. But that's the new [Disney] paradigm. And one for which Kennedy herself isn't responsible.

Because frankly, that's all Star Wars has ever been or meant to be. The first two films are the exception, not the rule.

Entitled manchildren butthurt over a Star Wars movie not being tailored after their personal notion of what Star Wars is or should be...

A universal constant since 1999.

To bad JJ didn't create Kylo as an intentional parody of a an entitled little butthurt commando, it'd be glorious.
