"5 Reasons Kathleen Kennedy Needs To Step Down From Lucasfilm" By John Campea

I have and it is the single biggest mass of WTFery I have ever seen in my life. We have whole scenes in nothing but the Wookie language without any kind of subtitles, Harvey Korman as a female four armed chef, and Bea Arthur singing to the patrons of the Mos Eisley cantina. I think I watched whole thing either shaking my head, or with my jaw hanging open in disbelief.

I was 11 when it came out but i don't think i ever saw it. If I did I sure repressed the memory of it. it sounds awful.

The Boba Fett cartoon was fun though silly; seeing the justifiably taken out outtakes from the original film was interesting from the standpoint of completionism. The Wookiee planet realized in retrospect to be a prototype of Endor was also noteworthy. Can't think of anything else....

I'm amazed how much stuff from it actually made it into the EU books, and at least a couple things have possibly made it into the new canon. I think someone said one of the books referred to Chewie's wife, and according to Wookiepedia a short story about the cook at Maz's bar has a reference to Harvey Korman's four armed lady chef.

The designs used in ROTS used the Holiday Special as inspiration, they didn’t tell Lucas because they were afraid he’d reject it.

Bea Arthur’s character is mentioned in a recent short story collection, she has a wife and runs a cantina.

The head of Walt Disney saw it in a vision, his final cyborg form will rule over his machine children and the few survivors who swear allegiance to the Mickey Mouse Club.
