COPILOT: "Let the black-box show that I TOTALLY FUCKING OBJECT TO THIS OMG AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH-- *recording cuts off*

...that said, Sorry about your loss Q2.

Morning folks. This morning has been a tough one for me. Last night, I lost a dear friend in that plane crash. He was a coworker and friend for almost 20 years. His office is right next to mine. My heart goes out to his wife and family. We traveled, worked, dined and shared many a beverage together. I will miss him.
I'm very sorry for your loss, Q2. :(

I guess this should remind us that every anonymous fatality we see on TV is as important to someone as our friends are to us.

My thoughts are with you Q2 and the families of the victims. I'm also thinking about Beverly Eckert and her husband Sean Rooney and how they are finally together again just in time for Valentines Day. My Grandmother passed away a year ago, just in time to spend Valentines Day with my Grandfather.

I'm sorry to hear about your friends Q2. :(

I remember watching the news coverage last night, and then running down stairs to check an email that my friend sent me before she left to go to Florida ( this was before we were told the plane was from Newark), telling me the date she was going to be leaving. The feeling of relief that washed over me when I read that she left on Wednesday is indescribable. I feel for those who were not/are not able to feel that relief, and actually lost loved ones. :(
I'll make it a point to give her a big bear hug when she gets back.

Thinking about it now, I think this may be the worst tragedy to occur in Buffalo since President McKinnely was assassinated at the Pan Am in 1901.:(

Damn...I think this may be the most sad smilies I have ever used in a post.

Thanks folks for the kind words and the well wishes. My heart goes out to all those other poor souls who are going to be sleeping tonight without a loved one. May they find peace....

I cannot watch the TV coverage and reports any more; too painful.

Q2: I also add in the outpouring of thoughts and prayers. Indeed a loss so sudden, tragic, and seemingly from nowhere is shocking. It is indeed a tragedy.

Sorry for the loss of your friend, Q2.

Was this or was this not the same flight that claimed the life of a prominent 9/11 widow?
