^^ I had a wood-grain Great Dane in my attic room. 
Here's a question for fellow old-timers about an old commercial-- and it fits the theme more or less, because it was kind of spooky. It was in the late 60s or maybe 1970. A man (or humanoid) in a white body stocking comes into a bare room carrying a briefcase. He puts the briefcase on the table and opens it up to reveal a TV screen with a human face on it (think of a laptop, but decades before anything like it existed). The humanoid leaves. The face spends the rest of the commercial speaking, reciting equations or something, but his voice is in the background of the narration-- I have no idea what the narration was about. At the end of the commercial, the face is calling for the humanoid to come and get him, but gets no response. Anybody else remember this?
