^ No wonder why it wasn't very popular. I imagine most people would balk at the rather complex design compared to the original game. Still, it looks like it would be fun to play once you got the hang of it.
Greg, do you collect other vintage games or just the ones that appeared on Star Trek? Do you ever play them or are they just for show/collecting?

I don't really collect other vintage games, just Star Trek stuff. My problem is that I have some OCD tendencies: if I get started on "vintage games," that just opens some huge Pandora's box. If I draw the line at Star Trek stuff, it's a relatively small world of stuff and I don't get lost in it. (My home is a collection of 60's crap as it is.)
The only game I've really played is the Checkline game (Tic-Tac-Toe, four in a row--in all three spatial directions.) My eight-year-old daughter thought it was great. Mostly these things are just props to me--things that I haul out of storage when we have a shoot.
