30 Rock

Tonight's episode was one of the funniest episodes I've ever seen on this show and probably the best of the season. Loved how we got to see how Jack, Tracy, and Kenneth got to see the world (Kenneth with the puppets :guffaw:) and then that ending was absolutely hilarity. It seemed predictable, but it worked so well because it was damn funny.

I like how puppet liz transitioned to actual liz walking like a puppet.

I was looking down at my chili and I missed Puppet-Liz! Grr! I think the phone sex thing was a reference to Evangelline Lilly, whose only real credit pre-LOST was one of those things. I remember them playing it endlessly at night when LOST first came out I think it was even "for urban singles". Aside from another chick being there I think it was a pretty close recreation. We know Mrs Fey is a LOST fan ;)

I thought that was hilarious. Anytime puppets are used it makes things even funnier.

My favorite scene of the season is Alec Baldwin as the spanish soap actor and selling doritos

I doubt you'll ever see much of the show...the same way we never saw much of the Ted Baxter news report on Mary Tyler Moore's show.

The show isn't about The Girly Show...it's about what goes on with the people who create the show.

I agree. Studio 60 made the mistake of showing too much of the show and it dragged down our show because the sketches weren't as good as the rest of it.

I like the idea that someone as crazy as Tracy could be functional on a show like that, and the bits of the sketches we see are so zany and funny that it's probably better we only see a few seconds of them instead of trying to draw that out.

That was a great finale the other night. The Kidney Song is quite catchy and how they were able to fit all those musical people into the ending was great.
