Anyone else watch this show? I saw my first two episodes tonight (The third season premiere and the Second season finale) and that was hilarious. I might stick around this season, but I wanted to know if I really needed to see the previous seasons to really enjoy the third. I probably will get around to seeing the first two seasons anyway, but just wondering what others thought.

I enjoy the show.

A few gags and references might go over your head but it's not very story intensive, I'd say keep watching it and next time it is on hiatus give some old episodes a try.

Although I think that season two onward is great TV, it's not quite as funny as the exquisite first season, which upon multiple viewings still makes he howl.

Dude, by all means. Indulge in the first season, it rips.

Kenneth and Jack are the two best characters on the show. When they're working together it's golden, otherwise the show is merely excellent.

Alec Baldwin's (dead on) Hannibal Lector impression in the first season is must see. I forget what the episode is called but it involves a poker game with Kenneth and Jack.

I've watched it on and off since it started. When I first started it, I found it inconsistent, some episodes had me cracking up, and others I found really stupid. I just watched the last 3 episoded of season 2 and the first of the 3rd and I found all of them really funny, so I think that problem has been resolved.

I love 30 Rock, it's definitely one of my favorite comedies currently on the air, if not number one. It's basically the Arrested Development of post 2005. Hilarious witty dialogue, running story arcs, bizarre/cartoony situations done in a serious way. The combination of Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin is just absolute gold.

It is also about the only funny thing Tracy Morgan has ever done. I find his schtick tiring, but it really works here.

I started the first season today. Man I can tell already how much this show has changed from the first few episodes to now. Overall, I'm enjoying it (Yeah the Poker episode was great, but I also loved the one with Jack wanting to be in the writing room every day) and I can believe it's the next Arrested Development. Oh, and I just saw the Oprah episode and that was laugh out loud hilarious.

I am loving the first season. Had my first bust a gut moment on this show. Saw the episode where Liz meets this guy from MSNBC, and the ending with John McEnroe and Gold Case was hilarious.

Just finished the first season and this show is awesome. Loved the different arcs that came up at the end of the season (Tracy and the Black Crusaders, Floyd, Pheobe) and just watching all of them so quickly, they really do blend together. I do remember the great bit with the fireworks going over the 30 Rock building. Can't wait till I rent Season 2 and watch that unfortunate short season.

Oh, man! I forgot about him! Parnell as Spaceman was one of the funniest bits of the show! Was he even in Season Two? And what about Rachel ?Drey? as the different character each week? I miss her too.

They don't bring back Spaceman or Dratch's different characters? That sucks.

I think there were a couple of episodes with Spaceman in S2...he "branched out" and became an all-around consultant for a while, IIRC.

I didn't think last night's was as good as I've seen. I was actually more annoyed with Anisten's character than I hoped to be. The stuff with Night Court though made up for it.
