The ranking of sales for DC and Marvel DTVs is a mixture between the two driven by the popularity of various characters. In dollar terms the ranking of the DTVs in DVD sales currently looks like this:
1. Superman: Doomsday - $9,397,335
2. Batman: Gotham Knight - $8,016,438
3. Ultimate Avengers 2: Rise of the Panther - $7,777,554
4. Ultimate Avengers - $6,674,208
5. Hulk Vs - $6,263,757
6. The Invincible Iron Man - $5,220,713
7. Justice League: The New Frontier - $5,202,950
8. Wonder Woman - $5,202,787
9. Green Lantern: First Flight - $4,829,876
10. Superman/Batman: Public Enemies - $4,276,981
11. Doctor Strange - $3,881,588
12. Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow - $3,022,544
That's just revenue from DVD sales and doesn't include revenue from Blu-ray sales or DVD and Blu-ray rentals. The budget range for the DC DTVs is $3 million to $3.5 million. Green Lantern: First Flight and especially Superman/Batman: Public Enemies will obviously continue to add to their sales quite a bit since they're newer releases. Also, Wonder Woman has bucked the usual trend and despite starting off with lower first-week sales than the other DC titles has held up very well over time and is still selling well. It should surpass Justice League: The New Frontier and The Invincible Iron Man in total DVD revenue in the next week or so. Hulk Vs is also continuing to sell well.
