Question: What's the latest on Elisha Cuthbert returning to 24? -- Dominic
Ausiello: Ladies and gentleman, we've got a signed contract! Sources confirm to me exclusively that Cuthbert has inked a deal to reprise her role as Jack's lightning rod of an offspring for a season-ending arc

DAMMIT! I'm pissed! Anyway you know what this means...

The return of Agent Cougar!

The time off we've had from Kim has been such that I don't think I'll mind her returning. Especially if she's used to show Jack trying to rebuild the pieces of his shattered life instead of just as a danger magnet MacGuffin.

Though it would be funny if a meteor should hit her car in DC or something equally improbable.

The last time she returned to 24, she really didn't do anything. She shows up at CTU the same time it gets attacked (again), Jack has to save the day with the help of his amazing hoodie, she leaves, still disinterested.

Maybe she could be Tony's new girlfriend. Kim and Tony as the villains would sure mess with Jack's head.

I liked her brief appearance in season five. She's a supporting character, who works in relation to Jack or to the plot in a logical way. She really has nothing to contribute to the show as a leading character. It looks like they'll probably be using her in relation to Jack (or at least, the plot) here, so that's good.

Nice. While I'm not a fan of Kim, there's just something about Elisha that really does it for me (mainly the fact that she's freakin' hot).

Indeed. It's great to see her returning to the show made her first big show she was on.

I'll be glad to see Stupid Kim return. She was the comic relief of the show :p I always thought the show lost a little sumpin-sumpin with her absence.

Why did they get rid of her? Did she want to do movies at that point? Because I thought with S3 they finally found a way to make her work within the show, as a CTU agent.

It's not Cuthbert's fault if the writers can't write a decent plot involving her character...

It will be nice to see her again. If all else fails,at least she's extremely easy on the eyes.;)

I'm fine with it if she tight shirts without a bra again, like that one scene in season 2....

This is excellent. As far as she knew, Jack was still in a Chinese prison (if she knew at all). This reunion will be most excellent methinks!

There have been worse, more annoying regulars on 24 -- namely Erin Driscoll, Edgar Stiles and the Palmer sister.

You didn't like Edgah? Sure, he was just a Chloe fill-in, but he was all right.

Give Ed-guh some love! He doesn't belong up there with Kim, Driscoll and the Palmer sister.

I hope Kim dies in a fire. Or in a plane crash. Or in car accident. Or by getting eaten by an alligator. Or crushed by a piano. Or by falling out a window 100 stories up. Or by drowning when her boat sinks. Or by getting hit square in the face by a hand grenade. Or since this is 24, getting hit by a nuke. Most worthless 24 character ever.

Edgar was the embodiment of all that was wrong with 24 with all their petty office bickering that brought the plot to a standstill. "I don't care how many children are going to die in the anthrax attack, I wanna know who took the Doritos from my lunch!!!"
