Nope, it's been stated that they in fact went in with whole season completely mapped out beforehand thanks to the extra time from the strike.

Can you imagine if for the airlock scene in Revelations, instead of Lee saying "I'll take care of it" in Revelations (BSG), Jack Bauer took care of it?

24: Exile will be available on DVD on November 25 which is two days after it airs on Fox.

TV Shows on DVD has the official release from Fox for the DVDs detailing what's on the DVD. It has an extended cut of the tv movie with extra 10 minutes not shown on television.

Damn, November? I guess it makes sense to have it closer to the premiere of the show, but I thought it'd be airing in the fall.

Well, the last time they did a DVD for the first whatever episodes of the season, it got leaked and everyone watched it early... hopefully that happens again.
