The reviewer on Entertainment Weekly hates Renee for some reason and was hoping she would stab herself. But she found that the Dana storyline "got her pulse racing." Needless to say, virtually every one of the commenters disagreed with her.

Does she review lifetime movies for Entertainment Weekly? Dana's subplot seems like it should be out of that.

Precisely. Her pulse got racing when the redneck guys were playing water-gun fights in the CTU storage room?

WTF?!

Average

Maybe I'm just getting impatient, but if this was season 5 or 7, it might have been above average. Because it's season 8 and I'm not liking this season so far, the best it gets is just average. I'm glad the whole Dana subplot looks like it's coming to an end but what happened here was such a waste. You're in a middle of a crisis, and they are playing with water pistols. I'm sorry, but I would take 2 cougars over that. That, and given we know almost nothing about their past, I really can't bring myself to care.

The Hassan plot is ok, but speak the hell up. I can't understand half of what they're saying.

The main plot was really good, and the best scene of the season (Other than Renee on the pier a few weeks ago) might be the stabbing in rage and the break down. Good work again from Wersching again. I still can't help but think they are retconning everything from last season though, but it's good acting and I'm emotionally invested in it so see where it goes. Looks like next week we might get something more meaty so hopefully we either get the next season shift, or just something to happen.

Someone had a great post on 24. They suggested that presidents on the show should adopt Hassan's hardline stanch on traitors. The poster humorous noted it wouldn't have worked with Olivia (even though she wasn't a traitor) in Season 7.

I'd say Hassan's hardline tactics are something that President Taylor should adopt. The United States of 24 is littered with thousands of Americans who have betrayed their country at the drop of a hat. It's an epidemic on the show that needs to be wiped out.

Better than the last couple of weeks. Jack get some kills and Renee finally looses it.

The Starbuck plot, even though it's lame, did actually go somewhere this week. My hope is somehow dumb and dumber get in the way of some terrorists and they get taken out.

Farhad must be having fun with his lady friends that Bazhaev provided for him since we have not seen him in a few episodes.

When Renee stabbed Jack in the stomach I was like Woah!

Then of course 30 seconds later he was just shrugging it off like a paper cut.

It's likely the cut wasn't that deep or didn't strike anything critical. Once he gets back to CTU he'll probably be stitched up and sent on his way.

It looked like the knife was in to the hilt to me, and there's something important pretty much everywhere in there.
