Yes Logan did inherit the presidentcy after the other presidents plane went down. so lets see thats alot of presidents:

Palmer
President whos plane went down (forgot name).
Logan
Wayne Palmer
Daniels
Taylor

Keeler was president after Palmer, he won the election after Palmer decided to withdraw from the race. I'm guessing that Logan's VP, Gardner, was interim president after Logan's fall from grace and before Wayne Palmer was elected.

Yup thats 7 presidents during 24's run Logan, Gardner and Daniels never got elected (unless Daniels got re-elected, after, not sure)
