Go Auburn! So I can win the pool by default!
Well, how about that.
That was the most insane game ever.
Virginia shouldn't have won because that wasn't a foul but it least they showed why you HAVE to make your free throws.
Webster's Dictionary defines "excellence" as: "the quality of being outstanding or extremely good".
Having just repeated as TrekBBS March Madness Tournament Champion, I find myself reflecting on Excellence. What it means, and how my life reflects it so wonderfully.
I'd like to thank you, the little people, for providing the competition, weak and sad though it was.
See you next year!
Pffft! Whatever! I almost won by default. Not that excellent of you!
(Also, I've sobered up a bit and I realize that it was indeed a foul)
Graciousness in defeat is, perhaps, too great an expectation.
You need time.
Modesty in victory is, perhaps, too great an expectation.
You need time.
You seem to be unfamiliar with how this works.
Oh, I'm quite familiar! I'm just trying to dampen down the ego.
I figure the winner (aka me) gets a 24 hour gloating window. 48, since I went back-to-back.
...if only because I want to have that same privilege when I win.
I did better when I winged it!
Go Texas Tech! If we're gonna have a non-blue-blood final let's make it the non-blue-bloodiest!
Well Texas Tech lost but in other news VOLS' Rick Barnes (recent Naismith Coach of the Year winner) told blue-blood UCLA to shove it! He's staying at Tennessee!
