More like the TV show is between seasons,which as has always been the case with Star Trek shows. One season ends and the next comes around after a break. DISCO is currently filming Season 2 so it's certainly still a going concern.

The next movies, granted, are more hypothetical at this point, although there seems to be some movement on that front.

But that's what The Wormhole meant, I believe -- that the show is on break between seasons, so there isn't any new TV or movie Star Trek right now to tide people over in the absence of new books.

People forget that Gene Roddenberry himself once recommended that TOS be pulled from TV syndication during the months leading up to TMP's premiere in 1979, to heighten anticipation for the movie! And it certainly seemed to help.

I don't think I'd ever heard the term applied to TV until the wait between TNG Seasons 1 and 2. (Although that was a longer than planned hiatus due to a writers' strike with cut Season 2 by four episodes.)

Given that @Therin of Andor hasn't posted anything backing up this claim and I've spent the last hour or so googling in relation to his claim and finding mere speculation, I think that is a real possibility.

Plus given the interest in any word of the future novels, making a claim like this is taking the piss a bit, plus could also be classified as Trolling.

Maybe there is something behind Therin's claims (from my experience he has a 50/50 batting ratio), maybe there isn't, but since it is his modus operandi to post things without backing it up (at first) I have stopped many, many years ago to take anything serious he posts until there is backup.

And you know what doesn't feel right, what you did. You could have removed/hidden the individuals name, their profile image, and their location, it's easily done, even in paint. Instead you post something vague and get upset when you're actually asked to show evidence.

So anyway, my opinion on the original comment by @Therin of Andor is thus:
