2016 College Football

The Bowls I wanted

USC vs Oklahoma
LSU vs Michigan
Auburn vs Penn State
Louisville vs Western Michigan

*sighs* Neither of my teams really did all that well in their bowl games.

The Cougs basically phoned it in while Minnesota had a chip on their shoulder due to the recent controversy and rolled over what was supposed to be a relatively good offense.

I knew it was a long shot that Washington could put up a fight against Bama and after the first drive the same old issues that showed up against USC appeared again and the run game disappeared. Ironically it was almost the same issues that WSU and the Seahawks have where a poor o- line that's unable to give the quarterback any room or time to maneuver against a stifling defense. Oh well, we may lose some of our receivers but our quarterback has another year or two to develop, but so does Alabama's. Hopefully the dawgs will be back in the fight next season too.

'Fight on', indeed, followed by "Conquest". USC showing the rest of the Pac 12 how to play in big games. Both USC and PSC showing two quarterbacks who can make plays, not to mention running backs and receivers. just an incredible game.

One thing that irritated me was the announcers' seeming to fawn over PSU because of their coming hack from the sanctions. The fact is, USC came back more quickly and from much tougher sanctions.
But that's all over now. With SC receuting back on track, expect in the near future, the road ti the national championship to once again veer out west through southern California.

That was one of the best college football games I've ever seen.

And I was at the USC/Texas Rose Bowl.

Just an unbelievable performance by Sam Darnold. He is a Full Grown Man.

Congrats to the Clemson Tigers. USC finishes No. 3 in the nation. Who would have thunk it back in September.

I think Penn State should have been No. 4, not Washington. No knock on the Huskies, but PSU was a better team at the end of the season, IMO.
