2015 - Most Anticipated Movies

Starbreaker

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
2015 is almost upon us. Almost everything has a release date. What are you most looking forward to?

For Me:

Avengers: Age of Ultron
I feel like I've been waiting for this movie forever. I can't wait to see Vision, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and whatever other team member they throw into the mix to take down Ultron. If all goes to plan, this will the crown jewel in the MCU

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
I might fall over dead seeing the original cast again, even if their roles are brief. I really enjoyed JJ's two Star Trek movies, so if Star Wars is truly his passion, I think he'll do right by the franchise.

Spectre
Casino Royale is one of my favorite films. Quantum of Solace is just ok, and I liked Skyfall, but it's not a classic. I'm hoping with the addition of Christoph Waltz that they can make a truly spectacular Bond film

Ant-Man
Marvel taking risks once again with a little-known character. I hope this film turns out okay after they bullied Edgar Wright out the door after working on the project for nearly a decade.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part II
I actually thought that Part I was better than the book, so I'm hoping that Part II is even better. There was so much in the book that I thought was just glossed over.

Knight of Cups
It's Terrence Malick and Christian Bale doing some kind of weird Terrence Malick thing. I don't even know what's going on. I want to see it.

The Hateful Eight
Tarantino's movies are always entertaining even when they probably shouldn't be at times. I just want to see Channing Tatum and Sam Jackson have a scene together so the internet can break

In the Heart of the Sea
Brendan Gleeson, Cillian Murphy, Chris Hemsworth, in a Ron Howard film where a sperm whale attacks a ship in 1820. This is right up my alley.

The Walk
The dramatized version of Man on Wire, basically. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the high-wire artist.

Crimson Peak
A new haunted house film from Guillermo del Toro. I'm a Del Toro junkie, so I'm probably going to love this.

The Martian
I love the book and I assume Matt Damon is playing the title character.

The Revenant
Leonardo Dicaprio gets mauled by a bear and then goes on a killing spree. Enough said

Could be watchable depending on reviews:

Blackhat
Project Almanac
Kingsman: The Secret Service
Chappie
Tomorrowland
Jurassic World
Terminator: Genisys
Pan
Poltergeist
The Fantastic Four
Everest
Scouts vs Zombies
Friday the 13th: Subtitle Goes Here

Star Wars: Episode VII
Jurassic World
Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part II

These are the ones I am most looking forward to and really the only ones I was previously aware of that are coming out in the next year.

My most anticipated movie next year is Hunger Games: Mockingjay II. I've been loving these series of movies mainly because of Jennifer Lawrence and I can't wait to see how this ends.

Other movies I'm looking forward to:

Avengers: Age of Ultron
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Spectre

There are others but this is what first comes to mind.

In order of interest:
Star Wars: TFA
Avengers: AoU
Ant-Man
Tomorrowland
Terminator Genisys
Jurassic World
Kingsman: The Secret Service
Fantastic Four (whether I see this in theaters really depends on reviews)

Gonna be a huge year for movies! I cut it to ten.

1. STAR WARS: nothing tops Star Wars

2. AVENGERS 2: but Avengers comes close!

3. JURASSIC WORLD: finally a proper sequel!

4. TERMINATOR 5: I loved 4 but I have serious concerns with this one...

5. JUPITER ASCENDING: high hopes!

6. FURIOUS 7: it just keeps getting bigger and better so far

7. ANT MAN: I'm still hoping this will rock.

8. SPECTRE: not a huge Bond fan but Skyfall was good.

9. FURY ROAD: love Mad Max!

10. TOMORROWLAND: know nothing but hope its great

In no particular order....

Avengers 2
Jurassic World
Star Wars 7
Ant Man
Fury Road
Terminator Genysis. Purely because I'm curious. The trailer looked horrible when it comes to acting, but the plot sounds interesting.

STAR WARS!!!

FOLLOWED by:

SPECTRE

HONORABLE MENTION TO:

AVENGERS 2

I'm not feeling Jurassic World *at all*. The trailer looked ULTRA cheesy. I enjoyed the first Jurassic movie back in 1993 and never saw any of the sequels until in the last 2 years I finally saw The Lost World and could understand all the negative reviews. (That climax was the very definition of misfire, though I can see what Spielberg was going for.) I never saw Jurassic Park 3, but everytime I ask a movie buff about it, I get a sort of "Eh..." reply so I never went out of my way to see it.

And I have to say that this new one looks horrible. Here's the lead star driving past a pack of dinosaurs and he looks like he's driving home on a dark road at 5 a.m. after partying all night, totally oblivious to the chaos around him. In other words, he couldn't look more bored. It looked so hilariously bad that I honestly thought my brother was showing me a Saturday Night Live type skit. Can you say blue screen?

Most looking-forward to:

Avengers: Age of Ultron
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part II
Kung Fu Panda 3

Moderately-optimistic about:

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
Kingsmen: the Secret Service
Tomorrowland
Chappie
Jurassic World
Terminator: Genisys
The Fantastic Four
Ant-Man
Jupiter Ascending
Fury Road

I keep forgetting about Mockingjay PartII Interested in that one as well. My girlfriend is very into the novels, and the movies. She convinced me to watch the movies, and I have to say, I was more impressed with it then I thought I would be.
