Well, my Yankees are about par for the course so far.
Still can't score runs. The second game was basically a fluke. The wind played some tricks, Yankees got hit, a ball went off the pitchers glove... no real hits in there.
Tanaka has a bad inning.
Pineda actually looked pretty strong.
CC found the middle of the plate too often, but had what, 8 strikeouts?
1 & 2, probably should be 0 & 3.
Same problem as last year. Can't score runs. ... and this is against that every-so-strong Blue Jays starting pitching...
Last night, they had runners on 2nd and 3rd with NO OUTS and couldn't get a run across. (slaps forehead) Ever hear of a bunt Girardi?
Didi isn't looking so Ozzie-like in the field. Now that I've seen him throw a bunch to 1st, I've noticed his accuracy is suspect. Thank god he came out of the gates batting .143. He's had a base running blunder or two also.
A-Rod hit a home run, so all is well... maybe they should bat him second more often (double slaps on forehead)
They have Boston next. Better figure out how to hit the corners against this line-up... it could get ugly. But chances are Buckholtz has already pitched his best game of the year so maybe we have a shot to win one.
