2013 Star Trek HOT WHEELS - Excelsior, Kelvin, Vengeance, BoP

Re: A few preview Images of 2013 Star Trek Hot wheels released.

It's a skill level 3 model.
Some more pics, click to get the big ones

I think I just had my very first nerdgasm!! I want this baby! My last model build was 1701-D. Like others my skills may have gone, but I just have to try...:techman::bolian:

Never noticed the main sensor is a a radar type disc like the original, rather than set in the secondary hull like the refit.

Here's an angle from the last movie which shows it pretty well.

I hope Hot Wheels scales some of these up and offer better details.

And that has the best saucer side view of any model or toy. Ent-D actually looks best as the Hotwheels.

Re: A few preview Images of 2013 Star Trek Hot wheels released.

Hopefully hotwheels will release a Voyager, Defiant(ds9), and a K'Tinga Battlecruiser. I's also love to see some alternate registries, similar to the Reliant/Saratoga Repaints they did. (Hood, Galaxy perhaps?) I don't foresee them releasing ships like the Akira or the Equinox, I just don't see there being enough demand for them sadly.

I'll second the request for the K'Tinga!! (must have!!)
Personally I don't understand why they'd do Excelsior before they'd do the 1701-E.
As for other registries? I'd love for them to do them as Hot Wheels Collector website exclusives. Personally I'd stick with canon ships, but even at $25 to $30 ea. I'd probably buy in. Just change the box to say "(blank) Class" then list all of them on the back with their source episode.

They could even turn the ships to face the other way in the box, and offer the 2 ISS Enterprises.

(I started listing canon ships here to help out our friends at Hot Wheels, just in case they read this... then realized just how much of my geek I was showing.)

Re: Hot Wheels USS Vengeance and Klingon Bird of Prey

The Vengeance is so unbelievably ugly. No wonder they didn't take any pics from underneath where it's even worse to look at.

Who'd-a-thunk they could have out-uglified the nuEnterprise?

Then they go a step further with the 'bird of prey'. WTF is that?

So now we have Ugly, Uglier and Ugliest. God I feel old.

Some new pics of the hotwheels u.s.s. vengeance and Klingon bird of prey (from the new movie) also some better pics of the Kelvin and Excelsior. I may be ordering a couple of cases of these...these are looking really good, I do hope they recast the refit 1701, because it looks like the painting has improved a great deal over the 2009 ships...

And it looks like a June date according to this article.

Vengeance is mine!

The Vengeance looks great, IMO. She looks a bit like the Sovereign class. The Enterprise NCC 1701 E
