2001 DS9 promos

I bought a copy Diplomatic Implausibilty recently and saw a promo for the DS9 relaunch featuring Ro Laren. How many of these promos were made? Does anyone have a link to images of them?

I thought those were neat ads, or at least the ones I saw were. The Kira one was cool ("Her faith is about to be tested. It will fail" or something like that) and I loved the one with Ezri. Sexy pic, and it gave me the impression she was about to go off the deep end. She didn't :(

^ There was one with Nog: "His war isn't over," I believe. And one with Taran'atar, which, if memory serves, ran along the lines of "He was bred for war. How will he handle peace?"

Psi Phi used to have all these up on their DS9 Relaunch page, but that doesn't seem to exist anymore. Shame, because they were excellant promos.

Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

Wow, I didn't realize they did so many of those. Thanks for the link.

Man, those things were awesome. I still remember how excited I was when the bookstore called me to tell me the Avatar books had arrived.

These were great. I remember being so excited for Avatar I & II that when Mary Taylor posted about finding them in a downtown bookstore I left work early and drove into the city and picked them up.

Same here. I got more and more pumped about the series after seeing each promo. I was bursting with anticipation just prior to the release of Avatar (which I can't say the same for the recent movie ) and I haven't felt that kind of excitement since (with the exception of Doctor Who's return to the small screen, of course).

Todd Kogutt had a lot of fun making "fake" DS9 promo posters in 2001. Q, the Moriarty hologram, a couple more. Fun times, fun times.

The fake I made at the time...
