20,000 Year Old Underwater Pyramid Discovered

This is a great discovery because it will open up new stories along many lines for our future that have from our past.
I was thinking that seeing as how the water is 40 meters above the pyramid then the water level during its creation would have been a lot lower. Perhaps this pyramid was a transfer point in the migration of Egyptians from Egypt across the Earth before the current water levels rose to the levels they are. This would make sense seeing as how a lot of the temples in South America are pyramid in their design and are built high up on the mountain side which tells me that the ancients knew the water levels were rising and had enough sense to build their communities on the sides of mountains that would have been very high during the time period of the pyramid discussed in the articles.

The websites you linked call it a "sunken Atlantis", and most of the other sites that list this amazing discovery are pseudo-science sites with catchy names like "Collective Evolution" and "The Mind Unleashed". There is also no data to indicate the "pyramid" is 20,000 years old, especially since no one has been down to examine the site itself. The number comes from nowhere.
There is no image of the "pyramid" itself, only a reading based on low resolution sonar data. It is more than likely a hill, or perhaps a volcano, which makes more sense when you consider the Azores are a chain of volcanic islands.
Finally, the tip of this "pyramid" is supposedly only around 100 feet below the surface of the water, yet no one has taken video of it, and it has been 3 years since it was discovered. Amazingly enough, you'd have thought the people who mapped the seafloor of that area would have found something so large, and so near the surface of the water, yet it seems a man in a fishing boat with a dinky sonar rig discovered it?

I totally read that as "$20,000 Pyramid" discovered. Now those were some great game shows.
No. It's only a previously charted underwater volcanic hill. The supposedly uniform pyramidal structure is simply a product of the low-resolution SONAR that was used. When high-resolution SONAR is used, it just looks like a hill.
