2 Quick Star Trek Model Questions

Hey there,

Does anyone know if the Furuta Defiant ship is in scale with the DS9 model kit Amt/Ertl produced back in the 90's? Also, is there a site that has pics of the DS9 filming model? I've been Googleing all day and have only found the same 5 or 6 shots. Any help would be appreciated!

This page ( http://www.starshipmodeler.com/trek/trekscales.cfm ) at Starship Modeler lists the Furuta Defiant as 1/1250 and the AMT/Ertl DS9 as 1/3300. Right below DS9 on the list is an out-of-production resin Defiant also in 1/3300.

Opposite! Defiant is too large!

Dashopkinsfan - A company called Odyssey Slipways produces a 1/2500 Defiant kit in resin that looks pretty good next to the ERTL/AMT DS9 kit. It's a pretty simple kit, but is in resin, just so you know and in case you've never worked with it before.
