#2 of next 3..Gale Storm dies

I didn't mean to cause offence - I am sorry somebody you enjoyed watching has passed away. I know what it's like when somebody you have fond memories of dies and nobody else seems to know or care.

My statement about the stereotypical person you echoed above is more of an indictment aimed generally at the hundreds of people who have written this over the 'net, causing me to read it in the last ten years. It was not aimed solely at you.

In terms of the "three" Fred Travalena also died the same day that May died. He was comedian.

Tulin I was not so much offended as tired, didn't mean to overreact. As I said, the "rule of three" has been around for so long I don't remember any death that didn't have it play in the background so to speak.

In point of fact, I was involved with a theatre group nearly 30 years ago that had three people associated with it go in a short span of time. When I called on couple for the third time and said "I have bad news," the guy said, "I never want you to call again." It's a way of coping.

Hopefully, as we seem to have just lost track of how many "threesomes" we have actually had just recent;y, we won't have to discuss it again for a long time.

This is too bad. I have several of her old movies in my collection and really enjoyed her.

I figure the last three were Ed McMann, Farrah and Michael Jackson

The newest 3 are Billy Mays, Gale Storm and ?

rough couple of weeks, childhood memory wise.

David Carradine set off the "first three" that went through McMahon and Fawcett.

If we're going to accept the silly notion that we count by threes with celebrity deaths -and that somehow that metric has been consistant throughout time -because fate and the universe works that perfectly in matters of chance and life- then the "second set of three" started with Michael Jackson went to Billy Mays and now this set of three has finished with Gale Storm.

Is it really more accurate to lump Farrah in with Carradine rather than Jackson considering she died within hours of Jackson and weeks of Carradine.

I actually remember Gale Storm even though is was born in the 70's. Pat Robertson's channel used to show old sitcoms at night. There was Burns and Allen, I Married Joan(A Lucy rip-off with Mr. Howell), Jack Benny, and then My Little Margie with Storm. Actually pretty funny stuff.

I remember reruns of My Little Margie in the early 60's on daytime TV. I liked Gale Storm a lot.
My Little Margie was a favorite of my little brother. My favorite role of hers was the cruise director on The Gale Storm Show. She was a very pleasant lady -- and lived a long time.
