#2 of next 3..Gale Storm dies

I figure the last three were Ed McMann, Farrah and Michael Jackson

The newest 3 are Billy Mays, Gale Storm and ?

rough couple of weeks, childhood memory wise.

I have had rather enough of all this dying and would rather it stopped for a while.

David Carradine set off the "first three" that went through McMahon and Fawcett.

If we're going to accept the silly notion that we count by threes with celebrity deaths -and that somehow that metric has been consistant throughout time -because fate and the universe works that perfectly in matters of chance and life- then the "second set of three" started with Michael Jackson went to Billy Mays and now this set of three has finished with Gale Storm.

You forgetting David Carradine..I was pointing out on the Billy May's post that MJ's death was the start of a new set of 3's..I don't know if Storm counts or not,I don't know how well known a person has to be to count in the "happen in 3's"things.

If we're going to count "guy who "projects" his voice to sell crap on TV at 2am on basic cable" as "one of the threes" I think a woman with the career Storm had can count too. ;)

These sets of threes are just stupid, David Carradine had been dead 3 weeks before the next person, it's just stupid.

However I'm sick of everyone dieing, maybe I'll just pretend everyone is still living.

Not sure any time-limit had been ever set for the "set of threes" rule. But within the same month seems reasonable.

Caradine was an anomoly. Usually these "death in 3s" are within a week or so of each other. Carradine was all by himself, so to speak. Its as if it wasn't truly part of the 'plan' thus no deaths surronding his.

What about David Carradine? The whole "3" thing is ridiculous. You can count ANYthing in threes if you want.

I remember reruns of My Little Margie in the early 60's on daytime TV. I liked Gale Storm a lot.

That "celebrities die in threes" rule is a load of shit. People die. Shit happens.

I'm not familiar with her body of work. May she rest in peace anyway.

I agree that it's very stupid and juvenile.

It's also in bad taste and, I feel, disrespectful to the person who has died.

Fine...forget the "rule of three."

Sorry it is too late to change the heading to simply, "Gale Storm dies."

For the youngsters among you who had not heard of Ms Storm before this thread...the..."it all happens in threes"...has been around almost as lomg as she.

So sorry to have offended so many of you with old folks cliches and all. Please forgive this bored, stupid housewife and over excitable fat shut in. :p
