Seems like a lot of hoops to jump through, especially since all I have to do to listen to the interview is reach behind me and pop in the CD.

Yeah, if you have it, that's easier. I don't though and I enjoyed listening to the snippet. That's the part of doing the news that is fun, when I find something personally interesting. It almost makes up for some of the dull crap I have to read.

I'm pretty sure the TMP soundtrack (with the "Inside Star Trek" CD) is still available in your better music stores. The CD actually has a bit more material than the LP.

The entire "Inside Star Trek" LP was included as an extra CD with the release of the extended ST:TMP soundtrack a couple of years ago.

And either they're still making 'em, or they made a helluva lot of 'em way back when, 'cause I'm pretty sure Barnes & Noble still has them in stock.

I just remember reading in the Roddenbery biography that he was annoyed that Shatner did not stick to the script he wrote for him for the record.
