This thread will chronical my restoration of a 1976 Dinky USS Enterprise.
I got my hands on a toy I had had as a kid, & lost in a move.
As you can see the plastic top of the saucer has yellowed with age, the paint is worn, the decals are a mess, & the pylons are twisted.
I plan on repainting the ship (including the plastic part of the saucer, and have ordered new decals.
Now I'm debating... Do I restore the toy?
Or do I customize it, to match the original color scheme?
