Weird schedule. It's a weird show so it's fitting I suppose.

Freeform-formerly ABC Family, had great success releasing it's new genre series ''Beyond'', all at once online, while running it's 10 episodes on a once a week basis. Ratings for the weekly airings were good, and didn't appear to have negatively impacted by the Netflix style, all at once release.
Sounds like Syfy's attempt to do something similiar. Since they're owned by a cable company, it would appear they won't go as far as release it online as Freeform did.

I am surprised by the renewal order. Given the increased pacing of the series recent episodes, I figured it was fast-tracking towards a series finale by this seasons end.

they keep it tight? well written, good actors, don't waste all the cash on one big special Fx scene...yeah it must have a good budget
