12 monkeys tv series

hello. for anyone that has seen the show, is it worth watching? I don't think I've watched syfy since Stargate went off and they changed ownership.

Seems like most of their programming is, well, not for me, but I've always loved the film.

I didn't see that one either. Sorry. I look at 12 Monkeys as a great film from my youth that opened my mind up a bit. I'm just wondering if the new show dances on its grave or stays true to the films spirit.

If you go back one page in this forum, there is a 12 Monkey's thread already.

There's a search page in your widgets which helps you look for threads about the topics you're into, but if you bring back an old thread from 7 years ago, it's creepy.

The tv show is sanitized.

They had a fraction of the money to work with, so it's unavoidable.

They get wibbly wobbly time whimey with time if you can make it to at least half way.

You could have watched 4 episodes by now.

Jump in.

Both feet.

If it turns out to be shit, jump the #### back out.

Or...

Just watch Daredevil like everyone else.

It's been a while since i've seen the movie...but i think it's a different take on the movie...kinda like the difference between the Highlander TV & movies (if that means anything to you).

I'm enjoying it quite a bit at the moment, but I'm watching it at the UK pace (last episode on SyFy was 1x07), which is why I'm not touching the other thread with a 10-foot pole.

I'll be in there soon. I can't be bothered waiting for Friday's ep on SyFy, so I've set the last 6 episodes off downloading and I'll marathon them over the next few evenings.

I've also pre-ordered the S1 Blu-ray, but that isn't released until the end of May.
