101 Things We've Learned From TrekLit

M is the 13th letter of the alphabet

13 backwards is 31

It all makes sense
D - 4
I - 9
S - 19
C - 3
O - 15
V - 22
E - 5
R - 18
Y - 25
4+9+19+3+15+22+5+18+15=120
Discovery has 9 letters.
120/9=13.3
13.3 backwards is 3.31..... well... close enough.

The "3" part represents the three sides of the triangle that encloses the Eye of Providence.

But it gets worse...

NCC-1031
N = 14
C = 3
NCC = 14+3+3 = 20
NCC + 10 from the registry = 30
3 -> three sides to the triangle
0 -> the eye itself
so NCC-1031 -> triangle + eye + section 31

Illuminati confirmed... and they run Section 31! :eek:

And on that note...

28. Section 31 was actually behind every morally-ambiguous action undertaken by Starfleet or the Federation in the history of ever. Because all those evil, corrupt, or just incompetent flag officers can't think up nefarious plans on their own; there needs to be a shadowy cabal behind all of it.

Don't forget pre-Federation too now!

Didn't you know that S31 headhunts for every morally ambiguous and/or incompetent officer specifically? Small wonder that there are none elsewhere. ;)

29. The top-secret location where the 'Guardian of forever' is located is actually one of the most visited locations in the Universe. For an entity that doesn't speak much it spends hours everyday with new visitors.

For some reason that made me think up a scenario where people are wandering around the Guardian, still not knowing what it is. One of the group asks "has anyone seen a bathroom anywhere among these ruins?" at which point the Guardian wakes up declaring "a question."

30) The Guardian of Forever is not accessible in the 24th century, except when it is.

32) Every year over 500 Vulcan lifes are saved through the unselfish care of the Unbonded.

33) NEVER EVER exile a group of Vulcans if there are technocrats and te-vikram among them. They'll become a not so nice Empire. Also NEVER EVER trick a group of exiled Vulcans in exiling themselves on a nearly not habitable planet. They'll become an important part of Star Trek Nemesis. Also NEVER EVER let a group of exiled exiled Vulcans exile themselves on purpose. They'll become an incestous, hell-bend on revenge group of Vulcan's Soul villains. Basically: Leave the Vulcans on Vulcan or at least give them an option to come back.
