Wow, this list is nowhere near representative of the breadth of my musical tastes, but whatever, I still love every artist on here, for the most part.

Some Lewis Black stand-up from the album Luther Burbank Performing Arts Center Blues was played, but I just put music on my list of 10 tracks. Also, some dialogue from the Deadwood soundtrack came up.

That last list has the most overlap with my collection of any post of the last page or two -- I've got albums by the Clash, Leonard Cohen, David Bowie, the Rolling Stones, Elvis Costello, and Slowdive. No, wait -- I have albums by six of Yojimbo's picks, too (Blondie, Miles Davis, Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Johnny Cash).

I'm curious if people are actually listening to the 10 songs or just skipping through and posting a list. My preference is to listen to them because I don't take as much time to just listen to music these days.

    1. Clay Walker "Hypnotize the Moon" Greatest Hits
    2. Toby Keith "Hit It" Big Dog Daddy
    3. Tom Booth "Like the Bread" Find Us Ready
    4. Brooks & Dunn "Only in America" Steers and Stripes
    5. Chris LeDoux "Five Dollar Fine" 20 Greatest Hits
    6. Audix "Devastation's Doorway" (Super Mario 64) www.ocremix.org
    7. Brad Paisley "Kentucky Jelly" Play: The Guitar Album
    8. Carolyn Dawn Johnson "Love is Always Worth the Ache" Room With a View
    9. Tim McGraw "Tiny Dancer" Tim McGraw and the Dancehall Doctors
    10. Garth Brooks "American Honky-Tonk Bar Association" In Pieces

    Duplicate Artist: Tom Booth
Favorite Song on List: Brooks & Dunn "Only in America"

It was difficult to pick a favorite from this group. It's a solid bunch of songs. I do find the juxtaposition of the Toby Keith and Tom Booth songs to be a little strange.

I've been going through to find the 10 then going back to listen to them all. Saves leaving the BBS window open for the best part of an hour to type them in.

Ah, the Flaming Lips. I live near Wayne Coyne. He's always out and about looking for random junk to build stage props and whatever that deal is he's working on in his front yard. He's a really cool guy. And yes, he wears that suit all the time! Lol. They certainly put on a damn interesting show. It's like KISS on acid or something.
We've got an annual halloween parade here in OKC every year(started three years ago), which is kind of loosely "hosted" by the Flaming Lips. Good times.

For these, I've been skipping through many of them, but listening to the songs that really grab me. But I don't necessarily want to keep a TrekBBS reply window open for as long as it takes to play through ten songs, either.

Meanwhile, J.T.B. and Tyre have a lot of stuff I have, but I have no overlap at all with Nerdius or Smiley...

Duplicate artists skipped: Brad Paisley ("Kim," "Farther Along," "Flowers," "Make a Mistake," and "Letter to Me")
Favorite of the 10: "You Need a Man Around Here"

I got quite a diverse group this time, and it only has two songs that were radio singles. I do favor Brad Paisley a lot, but it seems odd that I had so many of his to skip this time. I wonder if iTunes' shuffle function is truly random or has other variables that it considers.

The Newman Center Choir track brings back good memories. I was a member of various choirs at that church during college at University of Arizona, and I know all of the people on the CD.
