10 most-anticipated movies of 2008

An Australian newspaper had a two-page guide to films coming out in 2008. Trek did not get a mention, and interestingly two of the biggest Australian films ever are coming out in December, which will do something to counter the publicity from Bana's involvement.

I wonder if the person left those out (Indy, Bond, Potter) because they are sick of the multiple movies these franchises have had and in the case of Indy, perhapse they don't thing Harrison Ford playing Indy at his age now is interesting enough. I'm not surprised Star Trek didn't make the list though, we're all a buzz but I have to wonder if anyone in movieland is.

I can see Sex In The City being on the list, though I could care less. Iron Man and Caspian look like they could be fun movies as does Dark Knight, can't wait for that. Gonna be a good year for movies I think.

The latest FHM in the UK mentions it in their upcoming movies page which this month focused on the Dark Knight and Cloverfield but also talked about Star Trek.

I think for the most part alot of people both in the buisness and in the cinema could be looking at this as just another Star Trek, for the general public especially I doubt anyones really going to think about it till the trailer(s) start coming out.

In the least you will probably find Heroes and Spaced fans (who might not watch Trek) will probably give it a go, Simon Pegg fans are especially loyal at seeing his films.
