10,000 BC - Roland Emmerich movie

JD

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
I just watched this for the first time today and I was curious if anyone else around here has seen it?
I liked it overall, not a amazing movie, but still pretty good.
The dialogue did get a bit cheesy at times, but the overall story was good, and it had some pretty cool visuals. I also like the bits of worldbuilding we got.
It was also nice that the majority of the cast was non-white, although that did lead to the one big issue I had with the movie, D'Leh's whole story giving off some serious white savior vibes. It did at least help some that the African tribes and Yaghal were pretty much on the same level, so we at least didn't get the more advance white guy coming in a showing up the black people.
