1/350 scale Project: Endurance

April Update. Nacelles have been 3D printed - 26.5" in length and comprised of 10 solid and clear resin components each.

Main hangar installation:

Illuminated stern plate registry (bodywork roughed in):

Dorsal cabin and planetary sensor lighting test:

Upper dorsal and impulse deck construction:

Port profile:

Now that I've seen that profile shot, yeah, it's a shame the nacelles cover it up; it looks really nice. I do like how this comes together though. Great work!

Those nacelles are gorgeous -- they look more functional than some of the professionally-designed starships from official productions. I would be a very happy man to see a few minutes of this model professionally lit and composited into scenes along with some of Trek's hero-ships, entering orbit, going to warp, and ... and ... well, yeah, cutting loose with phasers and torpedoes!

this IS one of the greatest designs I have ever seen. It has the 2 interconnecting dorsal (to which other than the Ent F and my earlier Soulwolf nobody seems to use). it is beautifully streamlined, but with no compromises, meaning the deflector is orientated exactly the way it should be in order to be as effective as it can be(I'm looking at you Sovereign).
And I love the placement of the nacelles relative the hull, as it keeps the overall profile of the ship like a wave, to which I always love to see :)
BTW, your model work is flawless!

Buck, is your actual timeline a launch in 23 days? If so... Damn. You've got your work cut out. Really inspiring build, and you're fast. Do you have certain ports or parts you can open up to connect the lighting?

Many thanks - big fan of your work!

22 days 14 hours and 6 minutes. I'm not as fast as I like but insanely dedicated to finishing a project on schedule.

There is an access panel to the avionics bay between the dorsals atop the secondary hull that is magnet latched.
